Saving Money during Your Holiday

festival.jpgThere are two basic types of low-cost traveling tips that can help you in saving money on your holidays. The first tips that we give are specific ideas on where and how to get the best deals on those specific items you are looking for.

I try to give you as much information as I can and then try pointing you in the right direction to find more. There are some limitations to using this approach however. If, for example, I help you find the best deal on the best hotel in Paris at the height of the season, you will save money, but unfortunately you will still have an expensive vacation.

Unfortunately, trying to always get exactly what you want will generally be an expensive proposition.

The Cheapest Of Cheap Travel Tips

The second, and best, approach is to be an opportunist. This will be difficult for some of you. Those who travel the most, go to the widest variety of places, learn the most and do the most, are opportunists. Until you reach the level of wealth where you have no monetary limits, this will always be true. I always try to bring you a variety of inexpensive travel tips that follow this approach.

How to Become an Opportunist Traveler

Instead of indulging in your favorite beer are you willing to drink rum at a dollar per bottle? Are you prepared to eat chicken instead of steak? How about dancing at the local street festival instead of the hottest nightclub in town? Being an opportunist means you'll have just as much variety and do everything you want - eventually. You simply need to stop trying to get exactly what you want exactly when you want it.
